Students presented their power points on "Tolerance" on Friday. We wrapped up
with some partner work on Helen Keller.
Next week we will do some fun research by using our deductive reasonung
skills. Each student will be given some clues in the form of old letters,
souveniers, mementos, etc. and they will have to figure out their famous
person by these clues. This will lead them to researching without even
knowing it's work! They will then take what they learn and use the writing
process to write a biography on that person.
Students continue to enjoy our weekly quizzler puzzles and researching their
authors.
