SUPPLIES NEEDED
We have been working very hard this year and have used almost all of our
quart baggies,pencils and bottles of glue. We use both of these items on a
daily basis andneed to restock our supply as soon as possible. We appreciate
any help you can give. THANK YOU !!!
TREASURE CAN ITEMS NEEDED
As you clean out old toys, souvenirs, prizes, etc. please bag up and send in
the unwanted new or gently-used items for our Surprise Cans. Remember "One
man's trash is another man's treasure".
ICE CREAM PURCHASES ON MONDAY ONLY
To help the cafeteria serving lines move more efficiently each grade level has
been assigned a specific day of the week in which to purchase ice cream. First
graders will only be allowed to purchase ice cream on Monday.
LIBRARY VISITS WILL BE EVERY TUESDAY
Our class will visit the library every Tuesday afternoon for a story time,
lesson, book share and book checkout. We encourage everyone to bring their
books on Tuesdays to participate in the book share and class checkout. They
can still go to the library any day they need to exchange their book(s)
and/or magazines.
JACKETS and SWEATERS
Fall weather will be coming in the next few weeks and can change quickly
during the day. Also the children sometimes get cold while in the building.
For these reasons, we encourage each child to have a sweater or jacket (with
their name on it) to keep in their backpack or hanging here in our classroom.
SNACKS
Please send in a healthy snack and a water bottle every day. Students
cannot get into the building during recess for water, and with the extreme
heat we've been experiencing it's imperative that everyone stay hydrated.
Our class eats snack right after recess (1:15pm).
We do not have a snack time on early release days.

VOLUNTEERS MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE WORKING WITH STUDENTS!
Before volunteering in any Round Rock ISD school (and this includes field
trips!), all volunteers must complete an application and be approved before
they will be allowed to work with students.
