What’s happening in the Music Class?
*This week in the music classroom all students will explore concepts of pitch and tone color.
*Early Childhood, Kindergarten and First Grade classes will learn about high and low pitches and melodic direction.
*Second Grade classes will begin the “Science of Sound” Unit. Check out the "2nd Grade Sound Off" page for more details.
*Third Grade classes will use the new keyboards as they explore the concept of pitch.
*Fourth Grade classes will use the new keyboards, transferring what they have learned on the recorder to the piano.
*Dragon Day classes will work in multi-age groups exploring and reviewing rhythm concepts.
