Working with watercolors and oil pastels

This week, students continue to their work on color. They have made rubbings of different types of leaves. They have then colored the various leaves with oil pastels. Once leaves are colored, students will then paint negative space using watercolors. This exercise allows them to experiment with oil and water based art materials. It also gives students the opportunity to make decisions involving color mixing.
