Working on Fitness Together in Teams

Content:  Talk to the students about each of the Fitness Components. Explain 
the difference between Muscular Strength and Muscular Endurance.  Have the 
students help create the 10 different fitness challenges for the activity.

Learning Experience:  Separate the class into 10 even teams.  Each team 
starts at a different fitness area.  Use hula hoops with fitness cards inside 
so the students know where to go.  Each team works together on the fitness 
challenge by reading the task cards.  Examples of the cards may include:  25 
jumping jacks, 30 abdominal crunches, 15 push ups, 30 jump ropes, etc.  The 
activity is over when all the stations have been completed.

Variation:  Allow the students to create their own fitness challenge.  Add 
more workout equipment like medicine balls & hand weights.
