Our Lady of Sorrows School
Ages:
3 - 6 years old (PK - K)
We are all seasoned Montessori Teachers, and have been in the Montessori
field for a very long time. (Roughly combined, about 99 years). We are
all very dedicated to the Montessori Method, our classrooms and our
students. We have the great privilege and honor of watching the children
grow and learn over a three year period. We are the directresses of the
classroom. We are the guides and observers through the learning journey
each child faces. We help the children to develop a love of learning and
open the doors to the great life of independence. It is through the
Montessori Method that each child is able to learn at their own pace. We
each have a tremendous passion for what we do, and an overwhelming drive to
help each and every child reach their full potential.
The Montessori child will develop their sense of order, concentration,
coordination and independence. They will each experience the learning
process in a classroom that was specifically set up for them. Through their
independence, they will learn self-discipline which comes from within.
Through the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (Montessori based) the children
are able to experience Jesus and his teachings in a hands on Montessori
approach.
