The OLSS AR program requires each child in grades 1-8 to earn a predetermined amount of points before the end of each quarterly grading period. These points will be reflected in a test grade for reading in your child’s report card each quarter.
(The dates above are tentative and may change throughout the school year. Please monitor your child’s assignment notebook for date confirmation.)
AR books can be checked out from the school library. Most books are marked with AR point values and grade level. This information can be found in the link provided below and in special AR Folders located in the library. This is important when your child selects a book appropriate for his/her grade level and reading ability.
