About The Teacher
I grew up in the small town of Menard, Texas. Growing up, I had two exceptional coaches who had a large influence on my life, so I wanted to impact students the way I was. I attended the University of Texas at Austin, and I graduated with my B.S. in Kinesiology with an All-Level teaching certificate in 2003. I have experience coaching and teaching middle school as well as teaching elementary. I love teaching the younger students and instilling a passion for movement, nutrition and overall health. I hope that all students have an enjoyable experience in our Physical Education / Wellness Education program, and develop healthy habits that will help them stay fit and healthy for life.
