This has been a great start to our school year!!! I am so excited to
be at Sommer Elementary. My husband, 2 year old son, and I moved to Round
Rock from Grapevine (DFW area) in June. We are very excited to be here and
loving all the sites Austin and surrounding areas have to offer. Before
coming to Sommer, I was a 3rd grade teacher at Silver Lake Elementary in
Grapevine. I have been teaching 3rd grade for 9 years, and I love it more
every year.
I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2001 with a B.S. degree
in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Early Childhood Development.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy shopping, reading mystery novels, going
for walks, and playing at the park with my son, Josh.
