Welcome to a new school year! We are going to have an exciting year full of
laughter and learning!
I am a Honor Graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi-a family
tradition started with my mom, dad, and sister. Teaching was an easy
profession to choose...in fact, I think it chose me! I enjoy being with
children everyday, I always learn something new and exciting from them. There
is no greater reward than high fives and hugs at the end of the day! I am
filled with pride to watch them grow and change over the school year.
I have been married to my husband, Mike, for seven years and have a three and
a half year old named Michael Gregory. He is already a comedian and keeps
us on our toes everyday!
We, the students of Mrs. McCarthy's class, will come to school everyday to
learn and become strong third graders. We will also make new friends and
treat others kindly. We will do this by following our classroom expectations:
1. Raise your hand to share
2. Listen closely to the speaker
3. Work quietly
4. Respect the teacher and your neighbors
5. Follow directions the first time
