February 3, 2010 We are having a math test over decimals on Friday. Your student should have brought home their math folder to study. Do not forget to attend the Science Fair tomorrow night (Thursday) from 6 - 7 p.m. in the cafateria. Your students have worked very hard on their projects and you should be very proud of their efforts. Please support their accomplishment by coming to the fair tomorrow evening. The social studies test has been postponed until after the writing TAKS test on March 3rd. The team felt that this is the most important unit of study (the Texas revolution) and wanted to take some additional time to do some projects relating to this time period in history. I was very pleased with the magazine covers the students came up with. We will start the next project next week. I do not have full information on it yet. Our tape dispenser is broken. If any of you would like to donate one to our room, it would be greatly appreciated! Also, several students are out of post-it notes.
