Greetings to everyone! I am looking forward to a very exciting and fun
filled year! I have been teaching in the Round Rock School District for 22
years! I spent my first year teaching Kindergarten at Berkman Elementary.
I transferred over to Pond Springs the next year and have been here ever
since! I taught Kindergarten for 12 years and I am now in my eleventh year
teaching Second Grade. I have two wonderful children that spent their
elementary years at Pond Springs with me. My daughter, Tori, is a junior
at Texas State University. She is working on getting her teaching degree.
She also works part time at Chuys on Duval and 183 so stop by and say hi if
you get a chance. My son, Liam, is a junior at McNeil High School. He
plays both football and baseball for McNeil. My husband, Will, retired from
the Austin Police Department two years ago and is currently doing odds and
ends around the house while waiting to determine what his next career move
will be. Besides sharing my life with my husband and children, we are the
proud owners of three dogs and three cats! I am a big baseball fan. I truly
love my Astros. Even though they don't have the best record, I still enjoy
watching them. In my spare time,I love reading, watching funny movies, and
eating Mexican food! I am a teddy bear fanatic! You know, a teacher can
never have too many teddy bears!
