Dear Third Graders and Parents,
Happy New Year and welcome back. We are half way through third grade!
There are a few changes you may see this nine weeks. As our year progresses,
you will see an increase in academic and behavior expectations. Our spelling
homework has changed a little and we will be bringing home a different type
of reading log in the next few weeks.
Here is a preview of the concepts we will be studying this nine weeks.
Math - Measurement (linear, area & perimeter), Fractions, Time
Social Studies - Communities and their Physical Environment, Geography (maps
and globes)
Science - Earth Forces, Earth Materials, Living Systems
