About The Teacher
I am so glad to be a part of Purple Sage Elementary. This is my third year here at Purple Sage and my sixth year with Round Rock ISD. I am originally from Copperas Cove,Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. I attended Texas State University to earn my Masters Degree in Counseling. I am a new mother to a lovely little boy and enjoy spending time watching him grow and learn. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time with my friends and family. Traveling is my favorite adventure and I love to go on new adventures. I have always enjoyed interacting with children. During college I realized that the school counseling profession would allow me to help children personally, socially, and academically on a daily basis. It has been my passion ever since! I look forward to meeting you and your student(s) and to working together to have a successful and rewarding school year!

Mission
My mission as the school counselor is to work in partnership with students, parents, teachers and the community to help students have a successful and positive school experience. My job is to help the students of Purple Sage Elementary School become responsible, self-confident, individuals capable of independent thinking and positive decision making skills. I am dedicated to helping the students explore their strengths, interests and goals; as well as how these relate to their pesronal and academic growth. Having a comprehensive guidance program at Purple Sage is an integral part of the education process that will enable students to achieve success in school and the rest of their lives.
