Welcome back to school PANTHERS!!

We are going to have a fantastic year together.

Hang on to your hat and buckle up because we are going to emmerse our minds
in thought provoking literature.

It is great getting meet everybody in class. I am impressed by your
manners, respect for others and insightful class discussions we have shared
so far. Just remember that we must speak one person at a time so we can
enjoy everyone's comments. "Snaps and Claps" to all.

Now that you all have your 3 week grades, its time to get all make up work turned in.  I want you to make the grade you want to make, so turn in all assignments and make sure to pay attention to the quality of your work.  Remember:  Spelling Matters! Capitalization matters! End of sentence punctuation Matters!

Wow!  We had a great time at the Bass Hall watching The Crucible play. I want to encourage you all to take advantage of any opportunity you have to explore the arts through  live acting or music.  It does enrich our hearts and souls.

Our next novel is The Great Gatsby written by Scott Fitzgerald.  Go ahead and buy or check out your book from the library, you will need to read outside of class for this unit.  No worries, it is cool to do. :)
