I attended Sutton, Long, and Robert E Lee before getting my BSN at The
University of Texas in Austin. My Master's degree is in Oncology and
Administration from UT Houston. I have one daughter who went through HISD and
will be a freshman at Rice University this fall. We have several pets
including our new dog, Stella. I like animals, science, children,
travel, and bird watching. Stay safe!
The clinic at Red supports academic success by promoting health and
wellness. I participate in state mandated screenings for vision, hearing,
and acanthosis nigricans. Medications and treatments are performed as
ordered by physicians according to HISD policies. Individual health plans
are created and modified as necessary. Safety at school is the top
priority. 100 % immunization compliance is mandatory. I also serve as a
health resource for faculty, staff and parents. Each child that visits the
Red clinic will receive health care and health teaching as well as
psychosocial support.
