This is my second year teaching in a public school. I taught for 6 years
in a private school setting, and spent about two years as a behavior
therapist working with children with Autism. The main reason that I am a
teacher is the children. I believe that children are special people and I
want to help each one achieve as much as possible. I am a mother to two
great boys, one is 10 and the other is 13. My husband is also a teacher at
Johnston Middle School, teaching 8th grade Math. I am so proud to be a part
of the Red family and I look forward to the rest of the year with your child.
My mission is to help each child reach their full potential in all areas of
their life. I believe that all children can learn and can achieve their best
when supported by both a loving and caring home and school environment. For
this reason I believe that the link between home and school should be open.
