For interested parents and students:
- Hattie Mae White Administration Building Mall (3830 Richmond Avenue)
- Middle School -- 9:00am - 10:30am
- Elementary School -- 11:00am - 12:30pm
- High School -- 1:00pm - 2:30pm

- Tours for parents available at each Magnet program daily at 1:00pm

MAGNET SCHOOL CAREER DAYS
- Magnet high school coordinators make program presentations at all
middle schools

| APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED |
November 7, 2005 |
- Applications for all Magnet programs accepted beginning November 7,
2005
- Applications and brochures will be available the third week of October

| APPLICATION DEADLINE |
January 6, 2006 |
- Applications for Magnet/Vanguard programs must be postmarked
no later than January 6, 2006
- Applications received after January 6, 2006 will be accepted on a
space-available basis

| PARENT NOTIFICATION |
April 10, 2006 |
- Application status information mailed to parents on April 10, 2006
(postmarked)

| PARENT RESPONSE DEADLINE |
April 21, 2006 |
- Parnets must notify Magnet school of choice of student "intent
to attend" by April 21, 2006 (postmarked)
