It's hard to believe, but we're starting the 3rd 6-weeks! All sections of the website have been updated for the current week.
We're building rollercoasters this week! Since this is an in-class project, students will be responsible for completing 2 posts on the Physics Blog & their Physics Study Guide for homework this week.
**Important Note:
Effective Monday 11/9, there will be a change to the school-wide late work policy due to issues that have arisen with the previous policy. Students will now have a 1-day grace period to turn in assignments & labs without a grade penalty (work due to an absence still adheres to its own policy). After the 1-day grace period, students may turn in late assignments for up to a 70%. Students will not be required to attend tutorials to turn in late work, but it will be the student's responsibility to decide whether attending tutorials would be beneficial. The grading deadlines before progress reports & report cards will still remain in place.
Please refer to the Ridgeview E-News for further clarification.
Have a great week! ~Mrs. D.
*Note about Home Access Center:
Please note that the HAC is a "snapshot" of my gradebook at that current moment; it reflects only grades that I have manually entered (this is the FINAL step of the grading process).
Blank grades = assignment has not been graded yet
"Msg" or missing grades = assignment was not turned in on the due date (late or absent)
"0" = grading deadline has passed; missing assignment is now a permanent zero
Assignments turned in after an absence are not considered late, but will be updated as time permits.
Assignments turned in late get LAST priority and are graded and updated as time permits.
