Examination for Acceleration forms are due in the Department of Gifted and
Advanced Academic Services by June 3, 2009. Exams will be administered June
23-25, 2009 at Deep Wood Elementary.

Please see your grade level counselor before Friday May 29th in order to

students will be notified by mail regarding the date and time of each exam.
K-5 students must take exams in all four subjects areas. Middle school and
high school may accelerate in a single subject. Student wishing to
participate in Examination for Acceleration through the district at the
district's expense must take the exams during the above window. If a student
is unable to participate during this time, they may make arrangements with

the exams through UT at the student's expense ($30.00 per exam). Please note
that UT will only test grades 3-12. The same exam may not be taken twice for
credit if a student is unsuccessful at the first attempt.
