4-year plans for Cedar Ridge High School info
October 15th-18th-8th graders will begin using Career Cruising Course Planner
to fill in their 4-year plan core classes. This process will be done in two
lessons-one next week and one in January. Please see the counseling calendar
to find out when your child's history class will be going to the lab to start
selecting classes. High School classes will not be final until after the 2nd
week of March so I encourage all parents to review their child's courses at
home before that date. To see your child's course planner you will need to
access the Parent Portal using the activation code that your child will be
bringing home next week. If you already have a portal active from last year
then you do not have to re-activate this year. Once you have your code you
can go to www.careercruising.com/parent to register and log into your

November 5th at 6:00pm RMS will be hosting an Academy night in
the Ridgeview
Lecture Hall for all 8th grade parents who would like information
about Cedar
Ridge High School academy programs. All 8th graders will need to
have their
academy selections done by the 2nd week in March so their 4-year
plans can be
complete.

I have had several students from Ridgeview asking me to send them
off campus P.E. forms. I am not able to send them through email.
I tried and for some reason it is not letting me copy the forms
or attach them. Will you give your students the following
instructions so that they can print them out? Thanks.
They need to go to:
roundrockisd.org
click on DOWNLOAD CENTRAL
click on ATHLETICS
click on the 1st folder that says 2010-2011
and they need to print the OCPE STUDENT FORM.
They might want to read the first three documents that have the
instructions, approved agencies and the guidelines as well.
