Do you have a child with a disability? Need some help in your home or
need some respite? Then you need to be on the waiting list for CLASS, a
program that helps provide attendant care, therapy, and medical assistance.
IT IS BASED ON YOUR CHILD'S INCOME, NOT YOURS, so applying now is to their
benefit. You can be placed on the waiting list (which can take several
years before services become available) regardless of your family income.
It is for the lifetime of your child as long as s/he has a need for
assistance, so apply now.
To apply for services, call toll-free at 1-877-438-5658. Please be prepared
to provide Social Security and Medicaid numbers, type of disability, age of
the onset of the disability, date of birth, address and telephone number of
the person to be placed on the interest list.
