Dear Ridgeview Parents,
Let me take a moment to introduce myself. I am Rosie Beattie and I am the
Parent Support Specialist for our campus. I have worked with RRISD on the
Safe Schools Healthy Students Grant since 2005.
My role as PSS is to help parents overcome barriers to parental involvement
by linking them with community and in-district resources, services and
information. I will organize and facilitate educational and informational
workshops. In conjunction with PTA , SEPAC and other campus parent
organizations and staff members. I will help organize various
parent volunteer opportunities.
We invite you to be a part of your Parent Resource & Opportunity Center
(PRO) Center on the second floor Rm# 568, by getting involved in several
ways. It is ready and available for you with computer access and children’s
play area.
