Team Expectations
•	Respect education by…
o	bringing supplies:  organizer, accordion folder, pencil, class 
materials, and assignments to class.
o	participating appropriately.
o	respecting yourself, your peers, and your teacher.
•	Be accountable for education by…
o	completing assignments to the best of your ability.
o	using your skills to produce quality, original work that you will be 
proud of.
o	implementing time management skills to complete assignments and turn 
them in on time.
o	being proactive by picking up work due to an absence.
•	Create a relationship with education by…
o	choosing to make education important.
o	never quitting before work is done,
o	 asking for help when needed.
•	Broken expectations will result in consequences.

You can expect that We will…
	treat you with respect.
	be prepared to help you learn.
	answer any reasonable questions.
	provide a safe environment for you to learn.
	enforce school and classroom expectations for all.
be an advocate for you.

We are truly excited to be apart of your sixth grade year and we welcome you 
to Ridgeview!






Team Consequences
You are to adhere to the expectations set by the teacher, school, and 
district. If you do not, here is a list of possible consequences you could 
receive.
In no particular order…
•	Warning – verbal or non-verbal
•	Call parent
•	Afterschool Detention and call parent
•	Parent meeting with team teachers
•	Referral to the counselor
•	Office Referral
•	Other (situational teacher discretion)

Enforcement of a consequence will be deemed necessary when an agreed upon 
expectation is not upheld. The severity of the consequences will depend upon 
the infraction.
