You may check this website for the lesson covered and the homework. When and how will late or absent work be assessed?
If a student does not have an assignment the day it is due (or the day it is assessed) there name will be added to the Late (Missing/Absent) Work list posted by the door. When the student turns in the assignment their name will be checked off and the assignment placed in a "to be graded" folder waiting to be graded by the student. The student should then come to the classroom the first few minutes of their next lunch period. When they arrive at the start of lunch, they will sit and assess their work, and then be given the grade earned for the work (if late work- points will be deducted). After assessing their work, they will be sent to the cafeteria to eat lunch. If a child does not come to grade their missing/late/absent work, then there will not be a grade for that assignment.Back to Top
