About The Teacher
Welcome to our class.  I have been teaching since 1997 and I LOVE my job.  I 
graduated from the University of Texas at Austin Go HORNS!!  I have 
taught 5th grade (all academic subjects), 6th grade science, 6th grade math 
and 7th grade Accelerated math.  I have a wonderful husband / best friend and 
2 fantastic little girls.  My oldest daugter, Avery, is 7 and is so excited 
about starting 2nd grade.  Our newest addition, Piper, is just 14 months old 
and a wonderful, happy baby.  We have 2 dogs.  They are Jack Russell Terriers 
named Fonze and Mako (Fonze's daughter).  I come from a family of teachers- 
my mother taught homemaking (cooking and clothing- that takes you back) and 
my sister currently teaches Kindergarten near Waco.  My favorite thing to do 
is be with my family.  I, also, love to be outdoors and to take care of my 
plants and garden.
