5TH GRADE ROCKS!
I have been teaching 5th grade here at Robertson for 5 years and it is
absolutely the best teaching job I've ever had. I love the humor and the
curiosity I see every day in my students. As you guys know, I LOVE math and
I am so happy to get to share what I love every day.
HOOK 'EM HORNS
If you want to talk Longhorn football (good things only, of course!), come
and see me. Although I am a complete couch potato during college football
season and watch almost every game, my heart belongs to the Longhorns. I
graduated from the University of Texas in 1995 and I still go back every
chance I get. Hopefully I'll get to take some of you guys in the spring for
Explore UT!
MY FAVORITE THINGS
When I'm at home, my favorite thing to do is read. I love to read almost any
kind of books, but mysteries and detective stories are especially addictive
for me. I read almost every night before I go to sleep, so if I look a
little sleepy in the morning it's probably because I have a book I just can't
put down.
When I have time off from school, I love to travel. My husband and I take a
vacation every summer and sometimes over the Christmas break. We take
hundreds of pictures and our house is full of photographs of the places we've
been. Even before we get back home, we are already planning our next trip!
