Every Monday your child will receive a homework packet. It needs to be completed and turned in on the following Monday. Please let your child's teacher know if you have any questions about something in the homework packet.
Please read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes. Included in the homework packet is a reading log for parents to fill out about your child's reading. The log includes prompts that will help you talk about the books your child is reading at home.
Your child will also receive a new set of words to sort each week. The instructions for each night's sorting activity are on the envelope containing their words that will be sent home every monday in their blue take home folder.
