How often does my child have music class?

All students at Rockenbaugh have music once every 5 days. The 
class
time is 50 minutes long.

Will my child play an insturment?

All music classes will be given opportunities to experience 
different 
instruments.Boomwhackers,recorders,Orff instruments,drums and 
kazoos will be 
available for students to enjoy.

When should my child start private music lessons?

It really depends on the child. Some children are ready to take 
lessons as 
early as 5 or 6. Some need to wait until they are closer to 8. It 
also 
depends on what type of lesson. Piano and/or violin are great 
instruments to 
start and I would recommend both as a beginning instrument.
