Tricia Pate graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a
bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. She also has her master’s degree in
Kinesology. She has taught elementary physical education for 14 years, two in
New Braunfels, ten in the Eanes school district in Austin and the best two
ever, here at Rockenbaugh!
She is married to Robert, her husband of 19 years. They have a 13 year
old daughter, Ashlyn, who is loving eigth grade at Carroll Middle School. The
Pate family also includes a black lab, Molly, a rescued puppy, Daisy Doo, a
cat named Christmas and Hook 'em the hermit crab.
They lived in Arizona for four years where Mrs. Pate volunteered as a
Girl Scout Leader, PTO president, classroom coordinator, etc. and experienced
the education system through the eyes of a parent.
During her spare time she enjoys traveling, water skiing, and hiking the
Grand Canyon which she continues to do every year.
