Tricia Pate, P.E. Teacher

Tricia Pate graduated from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State) with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. She also has her master’s degree in Kinesology. She has taught elementary physical education for 16 years, two in New Braunfels, ten in the Eanes school district in Austin and the best four ever, here at Rockenbaugh!


She is married to Robert, her husband of 21 years. They have a 15 year old daughter, Ashlyn, who is loving tenth grade. Ashlyn is on the JV volleyball team, JV  softball team and plays the clarinet in the Carroll High School band. Go Dargons! The Pate family also includes a black lab, Molly, a rescued puppy, Daisy, a cat named Christmas and Hook'em the hermit crab.


Mrs. Pate and her family lived in Arizona for four years where Mrs. Pate volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader, PTO president, classroom coordinator, etc. and experienced the education system through the eyes of a parent.
 

During her spare time she enjoys traveling, water skiing, and hiking the Grand Canyon which she continues to do every year  with her Mom .
