Digging For Dragons 5K Run Coming Soon
The Dragon’s Fire 5K will be held Friday, Dec. 4 and benefits the Digging For Dragons
Foundation. The event will also include a one-mile stroller parade contest. The race will
start at 6 p.m. and the entry fee is $20 per runner/walker and $10 per stroller. Each
registered runner/walker receives a T-Shirt. An award ceremony will be held immediately
after the run at Central Market and arts and crafts for children will be supplied by
Michael's Arts & Crafts and Learning Express.
Plaques will be awarded to the overall and Masters male and female finisher. Medals will
also be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age category.
Packet pickup will be Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 2-3 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Kelley
Athletic Company, located next to Central Market. The Digging For Dragons Foundation helps
raise and distribute funds to support school district programs.
