Message from the Superintendent

Welcome to the 2010-11 school year at Roosevelt Independent School District. Our district received the Exemplary rating from the Texas Education Agency for the 2009-10 school year. Roosevelt Elementary is an Exemplary campus and Roosevelt Junior High and High School are both Recognized campuses. We believe we have excellent administrators, teaching staff, and support staff to provide the very best education for our students. Our staff works extremely hard each year to provide a quality learning experience for our students.

We are excited at the prospects for another excellent school year. We encourage parents and patrons of our school district to partner with us to provide a rewarding school experience for our students.

Back Road Has Been Paved The back road from the softball field around the baseball field and south to CR 3300 has been paved.

Welcome New Administrators We would like to welcome our new administrators to Roosevelt ISD. Kayla Morrison has moved into the position of Assistant Superintendnet, and Damon McCall is now the Junior High principal. New assistant principals are Tim Crane in Elementary and Michael Brooks in Secondary.
