My name is Teresa Norris. I am the District Librarian for both libraries.
I graduated from Ralls High School.
In 1996, I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's degree in
Multidisciplinary Studies with a minor in English.
In 2003, I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Master's degree
in Library and Information Sciences.
I am technology certified, G/T certified, library certified, and ESL
certified.
I taught at Crosbyton ISD for two years, Ralls ISD for ten years, and this is
my fifth year at Roosevelt.
I am married to Norman Norris. We have three children, Lisa, Alan, and
Nick.
Lisa is married to Robert Burns. They have two daughters, Lauren and Rachel.
Alan is married to Tiffany Seirer. They have a four year old daughter,
Maggie and a seven month old son, Charlie.
Nick is married to Kinsey Riley. They have a 15 month old daughter, Riley.
My hobbies are quilting, reading, traveling, and gardening. I especially love
to travel!! I have traveled to many countries. They are Germany, France,
Italy, Spain, England, Mexico, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Estonia,
Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Rome, and Canada.
My daughter and son-in-law just moved to Guam for three years, so I see more
trips in the future.
