Supported Employment is an opportunity for businesses to hire an 
under-represented population of workers, students with 
disabilities.  These students have diverse talents and skills.  We 
assist businesses with job analysis and recommend student workers 
who have the right skills for the job.  RRISD's Employment 
Specialists assist the student, business and family from orientation 
to the point where training is no longer necessary.  For each 
business and student, this period will vary.  RRISD will continue to 
follow up and be available to employers and students periodically to 
ensure company standards, ethics, and quality work is being met.
