Community-Based Vocational Instruction extends vocational instruction from classrooms to local
businesses. Allows businesses and educators cooperatively to train an under-represented
population of workers, students with disabilities. These students have varied talents and
abilities, but need real training and experiences to prepare for future paid job opportunities.
Community businesses and RRISD can contribute to a common goal, preparing students for the world
of work.
