Saturday, October 6th

Abilene Christian University

Meet at the OLD bus zone at 7:00 am.  We will load the bus and away we will go!
The trip is approx 4 hours on the big yellow bus, so bring a pillow and blankie to catch a morning nap.
We will stop for breakfast at about 9:00 am.  (We usually stop at McDonald's.) Please bring a little money with you if you plan to eat. This is the ONLY $ you will need for the trip!  Everything else is paid for by PAYS.  (If you choose not to eat fast food, you are more than welcome to bring some snacks with you from home.)  

The day includes:
Lunch at ACU's student cafeteria,The World Famous Bean
Campus Tour
Numerous Informational Sessions on Admissions, Financial Aide, Majors, etc.
Freshman Follies
Dinner on campus (Last year we had burgers and hotdogs while tailgating for the big game.  Cross your fingers that they do it this year too!)

We will leave the game at half time and head home.  Last year we arrived home close to midnight.

Tuesday, Oct. 9th (B day, Seniors)
Monday, Oct. 22nd (A day, Juniors)
TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY
We will leave for Aggieland @ 8:00am from the old bus zone. 
We will return by 7:00pm.

I can't wait for everyone to see my alma mater! (What's an alma mater?  Google it! Ha!)  We will tour the campus, participate in a small yell practice on Kyle Field, tour the new/updated MSC and eat at Sbisa.  Get ready for me to show you every wonderful aspect of the university!  Before you leave, you might just bleed maroon!  Whoop!

Baylor: Oct. 31st (B day, Seniors)  (And, NO, you may not wear a costume!)
Baylor: Nov. 26th (A day, Juniors)  PLEASE NOTE:  THIS TRIP WAS MOVED FROM THE 13th TO THE 26th ON 10/18

We will meet @ the OLD bus zone @ 8:00am.  We will return @ approx 4:30pm.
We will start the day @ the Texas Rangers Museum and the Texas Sports Museum. (Both of them are practically on the Baylor campus. We can walk to the Baylor visitor center from the museums.) Get ready for a fun day in Waco!

UT:  Dec. 5th (B day, Seniors)
UT:  Dec. 6th (A day, Juniors)

Itinerary:
10:00am:  Leave from the old bus zone.  (Please attend 1st/5th period until 10:00.  All teachers will receive an email verifying your release.)
10:45-11:15:  Arrive @ campus, unload and walk to Kinsolving Cafeteria
11:30-12:30:  Lunch @ Kinsolving
12:45-1:45:  Walking tour of UT's campus
2:00-2:45:  Admissions session
3:00-4:00:  Explore the Blanton Museum
4:30-6:00:  Bowling @ the Texas Union
6:15-7:30:  Dinner on your own in the Texas Union or Student Center  (You will receive $7.00 from me to use as you wish.)
8:00-10:00:  Performance of The Scarlet Letter @ Payne Theater (This play is based onThe Scarlet Letterand, put in simplistic terms, is an imagined sequel.  It explores the possiblilities of what Hester and Pearl's life would be like after the originalThe Scarlet Letter.)
10:00pm:  Load bus and return to RRHS
10:30-10:45:  Arrive @ RRHS

UTSA:  March 1st (Juniors AND Seniors)
Leave from the old bus zone @ 9:15.  Lunch is provided on UTSA's campus. We plan to leave UTSA @ 3:30.  We hope to be home around 5:30...it just depends on traffic.
