Credit Plus History

Credit Plus is a credit recovery program that was created in the Round Rock
district in 1990. The Credit Plus program is for students who have fallen
behind by at least one full credit in either English I,II or II, World
History, World Geography, US History, Algebra I, Geometry or Math Modeling.
The purpose of Credit Plus is to help the student catch up on credits and
get back on track with his/her graduating class.

Starting with the 2007-2008 school year Credit Plus classes started using
the NovaNet computer teaching program to help students earn their deficit
credits. This Year, 2008-09, the Credit Plus NovaNet Program has been
expanded to include evening classes for students who are close to graduating.
