How much college credit does a student get for passing the AP Lit Exam?

Each college has a different policy for granting credit. Find out about a 
particular college by checking the collegeboard.com website or by asking the 
college's Admissions Office.

How much does each AP Exam cost?

The State of Texas pays part of the cost of the test so that Texas students 
pay only $50 for each test.

Is there any way to get test fees reduced?

Students who qualify for the Federal Free and Reduced-price Lunch program 
qualify for a reduced test fee. Other students who demonstrate financial 
need can get local assistance. Students should check with their counselor 
for more information.

Is the AP Literature Exam the same as the AP Language Exam?

No. They are distinctly different tests, and most colleges give credit for 
different courses on the basis of scores for each test.
