We drew the Earth and Moon to scale if the moon's orbit was 60 m.

I checked observation logs. We recorded shadow data. A student recorded the shadow information in the Shadow Log database. We finished August entries in 365 Starry Nights. We started our class Wiki. Next time, we will compare the size of the Earth and Moon with a sidewalk chalk project.

We looked at August entries in 365 Starry Nights. We recorded our first shadow data. We looked for the moon. We talked about how to record entries in the composition book.

Please take a "Round Rock High School Safety Contract and Emergency Medical Information Form" and start filling it out. Return the form to Mr. Freeman for a participation point.
You will need to bring a composition book to class next time. Mr. Freeman will show you an example of a composition book. You can purchase composition books for less than $1 at nearby grocery stores or pharmacies.
Materials you will need for this class every day:
* Composition book.
* Notebook paper.
* pen or pencil.
* Curiosity about the world.
