
November 13th - Finish naming all the ionic compds on the lab. conclude by
finding the patterns for the following: what makes compds orange? What
makes compounds blue? what makes them colored? What do all the white ones
have in common? Use full sentences!
Finish the naming and writing formulsa 1/2 sheet. Makes sure to get it
checked
Finish the GFM and mole:mas WS. Work on parts at a time so you can remember
how to do it better.

November 11th - Work on the lab. First find the Group of the metal - it will
be either Group 1, 2, or 13, or it will be a T for transition metals. Then
name them using the rules we went over in class. Read the book again about
naming the transition metals, we will check them in class and I will tell you
how to finidh the lab. I will sign off the naming part though - it should be
done! Go through the 1/2 sheet (writing names side) and mark each with an e
for element, or a C for covalent bond, or an I for ionic. Try naming the
ionics - again, we will go over these next class and finidh the naming!
Read 7 - 2, 3
there is a quiz over polyatomic ions. Remember it is ALL of them and you
have to make an 85 or higher or you have to keep taking it!
