OBJECTIVE
It is my desire as an educator to provide the means to ensure
maximum success in Biology.
CONFERENCE PERIODS
Monday 8:15- 9:00
Wednesday 8:15- 9:00
GRADING POLICY
20% daily assignments, homework and research
40% lab activities and summaries
40% test
All assignments must be written in black or blue ink pens. Assignments not
written in black or blue ink, will be counted late and students will be
instructed to rewrite and resubmit them at the start of the next
class period. Pencils may only be used on graphs, charts and diagrams.
Students are expected to write in complete sentence form, demonstrate
appropriate writing skills, penmanship, punctuation and spelling.
Abbreviations will not be accepted on student assignments which are
submitted for a grade.
HOMEWORK
Homework is assigned on a regular basis.
Late work consequences are:
1.10 points off for each calender day
2.Zero for any assignment which is 10 days late
REQUIRED MATERIALS
Science folder and a black or blue ink pen are materials
required on a daily basis. Assignments written in pencil will not be
accepted. Map pencils or colors (not provided)are needed for some assignments
on a regular basis.
NOTE:1. All cell phones and other electronic devices will be confiscated and
turned in to the office if they are being used during class.
2. Dress codes will be enforced.
