A native Texan, Kathy has been an educator for the past 17 years in
Houston. She taught elementary bilingual classes for four years and high
school Spanish for nine years. The past four years she has been a counselor
in both middle and high school for Spring Branch ISD in Houston prior to
moving to Austin this summer.
The counseling department at Round Rock High School strives to provide
services to students to assist them toward graduation from high school and
the transition to the next level. College and career guidance, as well as
personal counseling should it be necessary, is provided.
