What is the PLAN and when should I take it? PLAN helps tenth graders measure their current academic development, explore career/training options, and make plans for the remaining years of high school and post-graduation. As a "pre-ACT" test, PLAN is a good predictor of success on the ACT Assessment. It also focuses attention on career preparation. Students should take PLAN in the fall of the sophomore year.
