I really don't know how to express how disappointed I am.   I know times are tough for so many of us right now, but all of us are still much better off than so many people.  We have gotten virtually nothing for our Christmas adopt-a-family.  We committed to providing this family with a good Christmas, and so tomorrow at 11:15, after my last final exam is given, I will go out and purchase gifts for this family.  The officers will meet and wrap and deliver after my return.  I can only hope that this is a case of either forgetfulness on your part or the idea that someone else is taking care of it.  If you really want to be part of this organization, it means more than just showing up for meetings.   When I sponsored NHS, my room would be overflowing with gifts - we even gave some to other groups whose members were not as generous.  I really thought that is how it would be with Interact.  I guess next year we will not participate in the Adopt-a-family program.
