DEAD POETS SOCIETY

Welcome back.   That is original. I know. I made it up myself.
so THIS year for DPS:
Next week's Meeting Laders(October 5th) Jacob Kennedy and Ethan Martinez-Detar.
we're trying to open up to more people that are not just in band, but throughout this whole school.
We're going to also try and have really cool T-shirts. We've already got 1 good idea, and it'd be great to have more!
The movie night we had was awesome! But in "The Joes" opinion, it needed to be more related to the club.
Also, We're gonna start a hand written "poem book" (i know- very original again, right?) which is basically a spiral we're gonna pass around to a new person every week for a new person to write a poem [about anything] in, or a picture or story, whatever means something to you and you would like to share.
"The Joe"'s also going to start his weekly "word rhyming" poem each week.

Also, if any of you dead poets have any suggestions for anything else that we can perform, then just "fling it out there!"

And we're going to start hosting meetings in different places. not just in the same place every week. so be ready for that.

photos of our feet, ears, and fingers and post around campus with a quote of choice?

! Joe's words for the week are ________, __________, and surprise.

& The party this month will be at Brian Pham's house. Date TBA as well as FILM.

Next meeting we will finish poem we began.

Thank you to Lauren, Mariah, Sangeet, Brian, Morgan, and anyone else who has shared a poem. We
would like more as the name and now t-shirt imply...We are Dead "poets"...meant to let the
written word drip from our mouths like honey. OK, maybe too much, but please share more.

Thank you also to Joe Seifert for T-Shirt idea and Jake Lehle for his illustration.

We know you are busy, yet please a bit more effort on "secrets" other than writing something
quickly on paper before meeting begins.

Always feel free to suggest what you would like to see or hear or do at the meetings. This is
the 49 minutes of your life in which you are free to express yourself however without worry.

As your tyrant I demand you have a wonderful spring break.
