What does PAYS stand for?

PAYS stands for Preparing All Youth for Success.  It is a grant 
funded elective with 1 state credit for participants.

What do we do in PAYS class?

The purpose of PAYS is to prepare students for college.  This 
means 
shepherding them through the application process, financial aid, 
interaction 
with colleges and universities, with guidance as to how to stay 
in college 
once admitted.

Why would I sign up for PAYS class?

If you are currently a junior or senior, why wouldn't you sign up 
for PAYS 
class?  You actually get credit for working on finding and 
applying to the 
right college or university for you.  You get first rate insight 
into the 
whole process, what colleges are looking for, study skills to 
stay in 
school, how to improve communication skills, and an orientation 
into the 
transition from high school into college!
