About The Teacher
Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! I am so glad that you have chosen one of my courses this year. Whether you are in education or computer science, you will learn skills and information that will further you in your career goals. It's going to be a great year! This is my 25th year in teaching. I went to high school in Texas, and graduated from the University of Houston with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. I got my teaching certification at the same time, did my student teaching here in 1987, and the rest is history! I believe in education. I believe in life-long learning. My joy is when I see you learning and when I see you enjoying the topics. My hope for you is that you will be open to the new topics and give me your best effort. If you do those 2 things, you will definitely enjoy the classes. Know that I am here to help you.
