I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education (grades 6-12)
from the University of North Texas, with certified teaching fields in
Biology and English. I am entering my 24th year of teaching, and have taught
in Richardson ISD, Hannibal, Missouri, and Quincy, Illinois. I coached
football for many years, including six years at the collegiate level. My
favorite things to teach are living things, earthquakes/volcanoes, and
motion. It's great to be back home in Texas, and I'm really enjoying my
fifth year at RROC!
Students will discover that they have been thinking like a scientist since
they were born. Students will fine tune this ability and learn scientific
concepts that surround them and are a relevant part of their daily
lives...and have fun along the way!
