This is my tenth year as a teacher. I managed campaigns, wrote grants, directed women and children's health programs, taught childbirth classes, and worked as a consultant before discovering my real passion --- teaching high school English, Creative Writing, and Reading. Associate's Degree - Victor Valley College Bachelor's Degree in Government - University of California @ Riverside Graduate School - University of Arkansas @ Fayetteville Educator Certification Program - Texas Education Association - Region XIII My husband, Dewayne, and I have two sons, Andy (Temple High '95) and Brian (Westwood '01). We garden in the country on 10 organic acres with dogs, cats, chickens, and one guinea (Darwin) AND proudly collect rain water and solar energy.
